E-Bike Distribution Ceremony at BISE Mardan: Honoring Top Students and Green Energy
Oct 11, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

On a joyful day at BISE Mardan, Chairman Prof. Jehan Zeb hosted an exciting E-Bike Distribution Ceremony to celebrate the top students of the HSSC Annual-I Examination 2024. The event, attended by the award-winning students, their parents, BISE Mardan officials, Secretary BISE Mardan Prof. Hazrat Ali, and Controller of Examinations Mr. Muhammad Fayyaz, highlighted academic success and the importance of eco-friendly initiatives. Twenty-eight students from government schools and colleges under BISE Mardan, Peshawar, Malakand, and Swat—seven from each board—received electric bikes through the Prime Minister’s Green Energy Initiative, recognizing their hard work and excellent results.
Prof. Jehan Zeb gave an inspiring speech, explaining that topping the exams is just the start of bigger possibilities. He stressed that true education builds both knowledge and good character, saying, “Learning with strong values is what matters most; schools should focus on shaping students’ character too.” He encouraged students to keep working hard, pointing out the many opportunities provided by the government, and praised the e-bike program as a great step toward environment-friendly transport.
Prof. Tasbihullah, Chairman of KPBCC/BISE Swat, called the e-bikes a special reward for the students’ efforts. He thanked Mr. Mushtaq Ur Rehman, Advisor (Finance) at the Engineering Development Board, for bringing this program to provincial students. “This e-bike is a memory you’ll treasure forever,” he told the students, urging them to be proud. He added that the boards focus on fairly rewarding the right students and noted that e-bikes show how technology can help the environment.
Mr. Mushtaq Ur Rehman shared details about the government’s New Energy Vehicle Policy, which supports eco-friendly energy to protect the environment and save money spent on fuel imports. He highlighted the e-bike, which has a long-lasting lithium battery, a waterproof motor perfect for hard weathers, and a smart security system that only starts with its own key. With over 9 billion budgeted this year, the government is expanding e-bike distribution to top students across Pakistan, including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, to make them role models for green energy. He congratulated the students for their success and for supporting a greener Pakistan.
The ceremony ended with warm congratulations to the students, celebrated for their academic achievements and their role in promoting a sustainable future. Prof. Jehan Zeb presented souvenirs to Prof. Tasbihullah and Mr. Mushtaq Ur Rehman. Prof. Tasbihullah thanked Prof. Jehan Zeb and BISE Mardan for organizing such a wonderful event that mixed academic rewards with an environmental message. Mr. Mushtaq Ur Rehman also expressed gratitude for the well-planned ceremony. The event left everyone inspired, blending recognition of student success with a strong call for a cleaner, greener Pakistan.
